Air Arabia now flies three times weekly between its main hub in Sharjah and the Greek capital Athens on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Air Arabia is the first Middle Eastern budget carrier to fly to Athens.

AirAsia X will launch flights between Kuala Lumpur and Taipei from July 1. Flights will operate five times a week.

China Airlines
has expanded its Taipei-Singapore service to include Surabaya in Indonesia. The Taipei-Singapore-Surabaya service flies daily.

China Eastern Airlines
is increasing its Kolkata-Kunming service from four-times-weekly service between to a daily service from June.

Firefly will fly between Subang and Singapore 28 times a week starting June. Firefly will also launch routes Penang-Singapore in June; Terengganu-Singapore, Kuantan-Singapore and Ipoh-Singapore in July; and Malacca-Singapore in September.
