Radisson opens business hotel in Tianjin

Hotel group Carlson has opened a new Radisson property in Tianjin, a major business centre near Beijing.

The Radisson Plaza Hotel Tianjin is located in the new financial hub of the Hedong District of the city, which is less than half an hour from Beijing by high-speed rail link.

The hotel is just five minutes from the bullet train station, 20 minutes from Tianjin Airport and a 90-minute drive to Beijing International Airport.

Christine Toguchi, Carlson’s corporate director of marketing for the Asia-Pacific region, said: “Tianjin is an important business centre in its own right and very close to Beijing. The city also has a number of cultural attractions.”

All of the 270 rooms and suites at Radisson Plaza include complimentary in-room, hi-speed internet access with wireless in public areas for our guests

Various meeting spaces are available including a 1,700sqm ballroom, which can hold events for up to 500 people.

Food and beverage outlets include Café@66, Lounge@66, a bar called Purple, the Japanese robatayaki-style Kushi and China Station, which houses a roast duck oven theatre.
