Second Address hotel to open in Dubai

7 Apr 2009 by Mark Caswell

The Address Hotels and Resorts is set to open its second luxury property in Dubai in July.

The Address, Dubai Mall will be situated in the Downtown area of the emirate. It is adjacent to Burj Dubai, the world’s tallest building, and connected to the Dubai Mall shopping centre.

The hotel’s 245 rooms and suites combine traditional Middle Eastern and contemporary influences, with light-wood furnishings and a warm colour scheme. All rooms have a private balcony, a flatscreen TV, free wireless internet access, an iPod docking station, 400-thread cotton bed linen and a pillow menu.

There are four eating and drinking options – Ember, an Australian restaurant; NA3NA3, which offers modern pan-Arabic cuisine; Karat, the lobby lounge, where afternoon tea is served; and Amtista, a cigar lounge.

The Spa at The Address has nine treatment rooms and an infinity pool, while the fitness centre also has a sauna and steam room. Meetings and conference facilities include a ballroom for up to 650 guests and six smaller rooms holding up to 40 people.

The property is the second Address hotel to open, after the Address, Downtown Burj Dubai opened in October last year. The brand is owned by Emaar Hospitality Group.
