Four airlines move from Changi Airport T1 to T2

28 Mar 2009

Four airlines based at Singapore Changi Airport’s Terminal 1 will be shifting to Terminal 2 tomorrow, March 29.

The move will allow Air India, Air Indian Express, Asiana Airlines and Korean Air more capacity for future growth. It also allows the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) better use of facilities across Changi Airport's three passenger terminals.

To minimise confusion, all airport directories, signs and electronic displays will be updated. Earlier, notifications were sent to the Indian and Korean embassies, which in turn informed their respective communities and associations. Car decals will be distributed to taxi operators and posters to major tourist establishments in Little India.
