JW Marriott to add hotels in Peru, Libya and Puerto Rico

Marriott’s five-star brand JW Marriott has announced three new properties in Cuzco, Tripoli and Coco Beach.

The new hotels bring to 25 the number of JW Marriott portfolio properties due to open by 2013, adding to the existing 43 locations.

The 150-room JW Marriott Hotel Cuzco in Peru is due to open next year, while the 371-room JW marriott Coco Beach Resort and Spa, Puerto Rico is slated for 2011. The brand will also welcome the JW Marriott Hotel Tripoli in Libya in 2011, with the 370-room hotel due to be located in a 36-story new-build property in the city’s central business district.

The brand opened the JW Marriott Shenzhen, China earlier this year, and will also add  hotels in Hangzhou China, and Bangalore, India in 2009.
