Hilton Reading to open in April

13 Mar 2009 by Mark Caswell

Hilton will welcome its latest hotel in the UK next month, with the opening of the 210-room Hilton Reading.

The property is located on the Kennett Island Development just off the A33, a four-km drive from the city centre and close to the Green Park business zone and the Madejski Stadium.

The hotel offers wifi internet access throughout, and features include a restaurant and bar, and LivingWell Health Club with a 12.5-metre indoor pool, sauna, steam room and dance studio. For conferences a ballroom with separate reception area will accommodate up to 400 delegates banquet-style, and there are eight other meetings rooms all with natural daylight.

The hotel is gearing up to open next month, and has recently unveiled a 24-foot long centrepiece chandelier at the hotel. Reading is well located for businesses around the M4 corridor, and is around 30 minutes drive from London Heathrow. Brands including Malmaison, Premier Inn, Ibis and Novotel have all opened hotels in the city in recent years – for a review of the Novotel Reading click here.
