Manila is to get its first deluxe hotel in nearly half a decade when the quirkily named Hotel H2O opens in August.
Describing itself as an “urban lifestyle” resort hotel, director of sales Christopher Legaspi said the new 147-room property in the Luneta area of the city would provide business travellers with a visually stunning, stylishly designed and hi-tech alternative to existing Manila properties. The hotel is just 5km from the SMX Convention Centre.
Sitting on Manila Bay next to Manila Ocean Park, the hotel has a strong marine theme, with aquarium-themed rooms.
All rooms come with floor-to-ceiling windows, 32- or 37 inch plasma TV screens, iPod docks and internet access. Room sizes start from a 25sqm standard room to a 68sqm executive suite, with sizeable workstation.
Suites have complimentary mini-bars and the hotel offers a number of meeting and conference rooms.
The hotel has joined the WORLDHOTELS marketing and sales alliance.
