The Chairman’s and President’s Rooms are new additions to Pudong Shangri-La Shanghai’s inventory of meeting spaces.
Styled as a 19th-century mansion, the products – the result of a US$2.5 million refurbishment – have been designed as power venues for exclusive meetings, dinners and events attended by captains of industry and top-ranking officials.
In total, they span over 630sqm.
Located in a private discrete area on Level B1 of the hotel’s River Wing, the rooms enjoy their own entrance via a private drive-through from the car park that allows for a high level of privacy. But they can also be accessed through the River Wing lobby.
Themed with a royal blue carpeting, the Chairman’s Room consists of the library, boardroom and dining hall, while the President’s Room with royal red carpeting features the sitting area, lounge bar and billiard room. A hallway and common foyer with a fireplace unites the two.
To complete the experience, a dedicated team of butlers and chefs has been tasked to attend to the needs of a discriminating clientele.
Rates are CNY43,000 (US$6,293) for 24 hours and CNY22,500 (US$3,293) for eight hours.
