6 Feb 2009 by Mark Caswell

The following is an update on flight disruption at UK airports, according to the airport websites as of 0830 on Friday February 6:

Luton: All flight departures and arrivals at London Luton Airport are suspended until 1200. Passengers are advised to contact their airline.

Bristol: Bristol International Airport is experiencing severe disruption due to heavy snow. All flights have been suspended until 1030.

Cardiff: Cardiff International Airport is open and operating with no disruptions as a result of Thursday morning's weather conditions. Note that this update is dated February 5 (Thursday).

BAA: The majority of our airports have returned to normal operations following Monday's adverse weather conditions, with the exception of a small number of delays and cancellations. However, we are expecting further snow fall across central and southern England this morning which will continue into the rush hour. Passengers are therfore advised to allow extra time for their journey to the airport.
