Iran Air will add a fourth weekly flight to its London Heathrow-Tehran service for the summer season, and will also roster its Boeing 747 aircraft on to the route.

From March 29 the carrier will serve Iran’s capital four times per week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
and Sunday), and will swap its A300-600 aircraft for 747 jumbos configured with Homa (business class) and economy class seats.

Flights leave Heathrow’s T3 at 1600, arriving into Tehran at 0130 the next day, with the retrun leg departing Iran at 0745, arriving back into London at 1045. Iran Air recently launched a UK website for booking flights, at iranair.co.uk. Tehran is also served from London by Bmi (with BA codesharing on the route) using Airbus A321
aircraft.
