There’s still time to get your slice of the 100,000 free seats to various destinations in Thailand, offered by AirAsia as part of its regional marketing campaign “Get Your Baht to Thailand.” Tomorrow, December 19 is the last day for booking and travel must take place between January 6 and March 31, 2009.
These flights include all international destinations served from Bangkok: Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Phnom Penh, Rangoon, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor, Singapore, Shenzhen, Hongkong and Macau.
Included as well are these routes: Phuket-Singapore, Kuala Lumpur-Phuket, Kuala Lumpur-Chiang Mai and Kuala Lumpur-Krabi as well as domestic services flying from Bangkok to Phuket, Krabi, Surat Thani, Hat Yai, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Ubon Ratchathani, Udon Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Narathiawat and Ranong.
AirAsia’s Chief Executive Officer Tony Fernandes said the intention of the campaign was not only to drive traffic back to Thailand but also was part of the carrier’s “continuous efforts” to promote the nation as a leading tourist destination.
