Novotel Suvarnabhumi offers flexi-rates

16 Dec 2008

As with other Thai hospitality players, Hotel Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport is doing its part to restore international confidence in the country’s tourism battered by recent political events.

The hotel is offering a new hourly room rate of THB2,000 (US$58) for a minimum two-hour stay. Subsequent extension will be charged THB500 (US$14) per hour up to six hours per stay.

Patcharin Nahim, the hotel’s public relations manager said, “The situation in Bangkok has improved and stabilised after the re-elections, and we look forward to welcoming more guests.”

The flexible scheme is targeted at transit passengers needing some rest and recreation in between flights.

“Our guests can be assured that they will continue to receive the same level of world-class services regardless of the length of their stay,” said general manager Tristan Beau de Lomenie.

The 628-room hotel is not directly linked to the airport but a shuttle bus is available at all hours.
