Star Alliance has opened its fourth branded airport lounge, and its first at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport.
The 850-sqm facility (open daily from 0500-2300) is located on the 10th and 11th floors of CDG’s T1, and includes a first class lounge for 33 customers on the upper level, and a business class lounge on the main level accommodating up to 180 guests.
There are business centres on both levels, as well as wifi intenet access throughout. Other amenities include complimentary drinks and a selections of “international hot and cold menus”, shower facilities, a quiet zone, "state-of-the-art television screens", and a wide selection of international newspapers and magazines.
The facility is the fourth Star Alliance branded lounge, after those at Heathrow Terminal 1 (click here for a full review), Los Angeles’ Tom Bradley International Terminal, and Nagoya’s Centrair Airport.
The lounge is available to first and business class customers as well as Star Alliance Gold Card holders travelling from CDG's Terminal 1 on the following Star Alliance member airlines: Air China, ANA, Asiana Airlines, Egyptair, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, TAP Portugal, Thai, Turkish Airlines, US Airways and regional member carriers Adria Airways and Croatia Airlines.
