Cathay Pacific has cancelled all its scheduled services between
Hongkong and Bangkok today as ongoing anti-government protests shut
down Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
The following flights scheduled today are cancelled:
• CX713 Hongkong-Bangkok-Singapore
• CX701 Hongkong-Bangkok
• CX703 Hongkong-Bangkok-Karachi
• CX709 Hongkong-Bangkok
• CX712 Singapore-Bangkok-Hongkong
• CX702 Bangkok-Hongkong
• CX708 Bangkok-Hongkong
• CX754 Bangkok-Hongkong
• CX700 Colombo- Bangkok- Hongkong
This
afternoon's CX751 service from Hongkong to Bangkok and Mumbai,
scheduled to depart at 14:25, will now bypass Thailand and fly straight
to the Indian city. The flight will be subject to a delay.
The
airline advises passengers that its In-Town Check-In and Online
Check-In services are suspended today for all flights to Bangkok today
and tomorrow.
The situation remains volatile and Cathay Pacific
will advise as soon as possible whether tomorrow’s flights will also be
affected. The airline will work on alternative flight arrangements for
passengers from today’s affected flights as soon as the situation
becomes clearer. When services resume, passengers are requested not to
turn up at the airport unless they have confirmed bookings.
