Japan Airlines (JAL) is to offer a First Class service on its daily flights between Tokyo and New Delhi from January 11, 2009.
The move reflects growing business opportunities and trading links between Japan and the sub-continent.
According to JAL, business passenger demand has strongly increased over the past couple of years.
In October 2007, JAL increased flight frequency to daily service on the route, and in August, 2008 offered increased seat capacity by using a 747-400.
The First Class service offers a fully-flat JAL Skysleeper Seat and each seat will be equipped with MAGIC, JAL's personal in-flight entertainment system.
