Taiwanese carriers China Airlines and Mandarin Airlines have opened a weekend charter route between Taipei's Taoyuan Airport and Nanjing in mainland China.
The first flight arrived at Nanajing Airport on November 1.
CAL chairman Philip Wei said: " As Taiwan's largest carrier in terms of fleet and network, we are confident that CAL will provide the best service to business travellers and their families flying between Nanjing and Taoyuan, using a modern A330-399 aircraft equipped with roomy seats and advanced inflight entertainment.
CAL will operate five round-trip charter flights directly to Nanjing in November with one return flight every Saturday.
Flight CI7995 departs Taipei at 9.30am and arrives in Nanjing at 12.30pm. The return flight CI7996 departs from Naning at 1.45pm and arrives at Taoyuan airpot at 4.45pm.
The flights will have a two-class service, with 36 business class seats and 277 economy class seats.
