Singapore Airlines will use its newly delivered sixth Airbus A380 to boost services to London using the superjumbo, from once to twice daily.
The airline, which swept five major awards (Best Airline, Best Asia-Pacific Airline, Best First Class, Best Business Class and Best Economy Class) at the 2008 Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Awards in Hong Kong on September 18, is starting up the second service on September 20.
The second daily A380 flight departs Singapore as flight SQ318 and returns from London as flight SQ321. This is in addition to the current daily service operated by SQ322 (Singapore-London) and SQ317(London-Singapore).
