Ramada has opened a purpose-built four-star hotel on Trafford Road in Manchester, the second Ramada-branded property in the city.
Located in the heart of the emerging Salford Quays
development, the hotel is fifteen minutes from the city centre by tram, with access
to the M60/ M62.
The 142 en suite rooms have wall-mounted LCD plasma screens with 27 channels
including Sky Sports. Rooms also feature free wifi internet access, large
double or twin beds, work spaces and two-seater leather sofas (or comfortable
armchairs in twin rooms). Decorated in muted tones, many of the rooms have
views across the quay.
On the ground floor is Stresa, the hotel’s Italian, 100-cover restaurant and
bar. The hotel is also within easy reach of some of Manchester’s
main leisure, business and sporting attractions – the Lowry Theatre, Imperial War
Museum, Lancashire Cricket Club and
Old Trafford and Media
City are all close by.
The five conference and meeting rooms on the first floor have natural daylight,
and can accommodate up to 150 guests. All
are kitted out with the latest technology including LCD projectors, plasma
screens and complimentary wifi.
Room rates start from £109 midweek and £79 at weekends on a room-only basis.
