Oasis tweaks business class offering

24 Jan 2008 by Mark Caswell

Low-cost carrier Oasis has made some enhancements to its long-haul business class service, including a “restaurant-quality” meal service.

From mid-February, cabin staff will serve business class meals one course at a time, and passengers will be offered choices from a dessert trolley rather than a pre-plated option. Crockery, cutlery and glassware will also be replaced.

In-flight entertainment will also get a makeover, with noise-cancellation headphones on offer for business class passengers, and six new “blockbuster movies” available each month. Finally, blankets will be replaced with thicker fleece versions, and amenity kits will be supplied free of charge (previously these were available on a paid-for basis).

Since December 16, 2007 Oasis has been offering ten weekly flights between London and Hong Kong.
