Shama Tsim Sha Tsui focus

1 Jan 2008 by business traveller

Shama Tsim Sha Tsui is the latest of Shama’s seven properties to open in the SAR and the eighth internationally (the higher-category Shama Luxe is in Shanghai’s Xintiandi).

Situated in Kowloon’s Tsim Sha Tsui on Nathan Road – the city’s “Golden Mile” of shopping – these 87 contemporary, Asian-style boutique serviced apartments cater to professionals who are new in the city and seek a stylish urban lifestyle. Monthly rentals range from US$1,771 for a unit of 29.7sqm to US$6,417 for 100sqm.

“The opening of Shama Tsim Sha Tsui further defines Shama’s commitment to being the leading serviced apartment brand in Hongkong,” says Elaine Young, Shama’s founder and CEO.

“The property is amazingly located in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, chic in design and offers residents a comfortable and trouble-free stay in Hongkong.”

All apartments have a Shama “Slumber” bed, flat-screen TV with cable and satellite channels, DVD player, hi-fi audio system, Wi-Fi, iPod dock and an equipped kitchenette.

Guests will also enjoy a Wi-Fi-enabled rooftop lounge and garden (barbecue equipment included), business centre offering complimentary internet access, 24-hour security, porter and maid services, laundry and dry cleaning, free self-service laundry facilities, VCD/DVD library, playstation and airport limousine transfers. “We aim to create luxurious and stylish living environments where residents can feel truly at home,” Young says. For stays of over two months, a “No Boundaries” card entitles guests to instant gym and private club membership and discounts at some of Hongkong’s top lifestyle brands.

More openings have been planned for this year: Shama’s eighth property in Hongkong at Fortress Hill, as well as those in Mainland China – Beijing, Dalian and a second for Shanghai. Visit www.shama.com for further information.
