Yotel has opened its second London airport hotel, inside Heathrow’s Terminal 4.
The capsule hotel is located next to Caffé Italia on the mezzanine level of the terminal, accessed by the escalators next to Boots in the departures hall, or the lifts next to WHSmith in Arrivals.
But while it may be above ground (unlike its sister hotel at Gatwick airport – click here for a full review), don’t expect a room with a view – the hotel follows the same concept as its predecessor, with the only windows looking out onto the hotel corridors.
To compensate though there’s mood lighting, flatscreen TVs, wet-room shower facilities, free wifi, and either a single bed for standard rooms, or a double which converts into a sofa in the premium cabins.
The 32-room hotel has 24 standard rooms (starting from £25 for a four-hour stay), and eight premium cabins (£40 for four hours).
Yotel is due to open a third property at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport early next year, with hotels also planned for city centres in the future.
