Holiday Inn refurbishes Bloomsbury property

8 Dec 2007 by Mark Caswell

Holiday Inn BloomsburyHoliday Inn has completed a refurbishment of the reception, lobby and Junction Bar at its London-Bloomsbury property.

The 310-room hotel is located on Coram Street, close to St Pancras International, and now features a minimalist lobby area, with whites, blues and yellows being the predominant colours. There is also artwork featuring London icons and landmarks such as the London Eye on display.

The Junction Bar is similarly minimalist in design (contrasting with the more traditional Callaghan’s Irish bar at the hotel) and serves lunch, afternoon drinks, snacks and evening cocktails.

Holiday Inn employed design consultants Virgile and Stone Associates Ltd – whose previous clients include Radisson SAS, Oberoi Hotel Group and Amsterdam Schiphol airport – to work on the project.

The refurbishment coincides conveniently with the opening of the Eurostar terminal at St Pancras. For a look at meeting and conference venues available in the area click here.
