Conrad Hotels and Resorts is offering guests complimentary extras such as free phone calls and a gift-wrapping service over the festive period.
The luxury arm of Hilton International has launched Conrad Connections, aimed at “helping guests make the most of the holiday period”. Customers will receive a complimentary five-minute phone call to anywhere in the world, as well as a free gift-wrapping service at participating hotels.
In addition, individual hotels are offering guests regional freebies over the Christmas and New Year period. For example, the Conrad Chicago is providing a “chocolate infatuation” service with treats such as truffles, chocolate-dipped strawberries and Godiva chocolate liqueur, while the Conrad Singapore is offering homemade cookies, and the Conrad Miami is featuring Faverger chocolate fondue.
Richard Blamey, senior vice-president brand management of Conrad Hotels and Resorts, says: “Even during the holiday period, up to a quarter of our guests are still travelling for business. Conrad Connections aims to help keep them in touch with those closest to them over the seasonal break as sometimes the smallest gestures can make the biggest difference.”
