Hotel representation service Utell has launched its latest portfolio of properties, the Business Collection.
The collection of independent hotels is aimed at business travellers, with around 70 properties located in city centres or business districts, and facilities including broadband internet access, business centres and meeting areas. The hotels are split into three price categories – Value, Superior and Luxury.
Part of US-based Pegasus Solutions, Utell is better known for providing reservation services to travel agents and bookers, with a portfolio of 3,600 hotels worldwide, but has recently launched a consumer-friendly website and a series of brochures collating its properties into Collections including Spa, Luxury, Boutique, Golf, and now the Business Collection.
Hotels featured in the Business Collection include Apex City Hotels in London, Edinburgh and Dundee, several Golden Leaf properties in Germany, and four hotels in Washington DC including the Washington Plaza.
Utell says it aims to launch a Meetings Collection in 2008, with other portfolios including an All-Suites Collection also planned.
