Oasis increases flight frequency to Hong Kong

25 Sep 2007 by Mark Caswell

Oasis Hong Kong AirlinesOasis Hong Kong Airlines is adding new flights to its Gatwick-Hong Kong schedule, starting during the holiday season. The low-cost long-haul carrier will add a second daily flight departing London on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from December 16.

The increase is initially being billed as a Christmas bonus for friends and relatives during the busy holiday period, but a quick look at the carrier's schedule for next year shows it will continue the extra flights into 2008. From December 16 – January 13, 2008, the new flights will depart Hong Kong at 1330, arriving in Gatwick at 1850, with the return leg departing London at 2120 and arriving in HK at 1650 the next day.

From January 14, 2008 the flights will return to once daily until February 13, when the airline will once again increase the frequency as above. Note that these flights times are subject to regulatory approval and final slot confirmation.
