Singapore Airlines' (SIA) new first and business class products will arrive in Frankfurt earlier than expected.
It had been thought that SIA would begin operating its B777-300ER planes (the only planes to feature the new seating) from the beginning of May (see Online News, February 1). But the carrier has now announced that the B777-300ERs will begin operating flights SQ325 and SQ326 to and from Singapore on selected days of the week from March 25.
SIA cannot be more specific so readers keen to try the new premium products, which feature a very spacious four across layout on the wide-bodied B777-300ER, must check with the carrier for the days of operation.
However, the B777-300ERs will operate SQ325 and SQ326 daily from April 18 replacing the B747-400s which are currently featured. Timings for flight SQ326 call for a 1350 departure from Singapore reaching Frankfurt at 2030 and leaving at 2225 to arrive in Singapore the next day at 1620.
Meranwhile the Singapore-Zurich route has switched to a B777-300ER operation. Daily flight SQ346 leaves Singapore at 0105 reaching Zurich at 0720. It returns at 1215 to land in Singapore the next day at 0705.
