Club Carlson, the loyalty programme of Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, has launched a “Members Only Rate”.
The new offer gives members the chance to save 10 per cent on the lowest available rate, if bookings are made directly through the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group brand websites, mobile sites or app.
“We want to save our members the hassle of spending time searching around for the best deal at our hotels and know that by booking directly through our sites and apps they will be receiving our very best rate,” said Roger Chacko, chief branding and marketing officer, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group.
The move is also consistent with an industry-wide trend that has seen hoteliers increase their efforts to drive traffic to their own booking sites, and away from the heavy commissions of online travel agents (OTAs) such as Booking.com and Expedia.
The Members Only Rate incentive can be used at more than 1,000 Carlson Rezidor properties, including Quorvus Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson Red, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson and Country Inns & Suites By CarlsonSM.
