Twitter users are reporting delays and issues caused by “intermittent IT issues” at Heathrow T5 this afternoon – we have contacted the airport and BA and will post more information here when received.
BA has tweeted that “We’re aware of a technical issue and we’re working hard to resolve it. All flights are operating as normal.”
@British_Airways your intermittent IT issues have meant that we're stuck at our gate at heathrow with absolutely no info on when our flight to San Fran is even likely to board. More info please guys, come on.

Yet another computer failure at Terminal 5 Heathrow for @British_Airways. Now regular occurrence. Flights delayed. Usual shambles, not yet on huge scale.

BA has just confirmed to me that the Do&Co catering will begin (albeit in a phased rollout) from next month, and is expected to be on all outbound LHR services by early 2020:
