There used to be a barber at Brussels Airport that I used on a couple of occasions.

Fair enough FDOS, but nearly all the passengers I see heading for the toilets on short haul flights are in the 20-50 age range

I can’t think when I have ever needed to use the toilets on a European short haul flight. Simply don’t drink too much beforehand or on the plane, and if necessary make sure you go before you board….

My only problem with the B767 is the smaller overhead lockers, compared to the A320. My Tumi fits nicely in the A320 but has to go in sideways on the B767

BA describe their Business Lounges as “calm and tranquil surroundings” and a “haven of peace and quiet”.

With families with 3 or 4 young children being allowed in it is unlikely to always be like that during this period…………

I recall towards the end of their existence BMI give free food and drink in economy if you produced a gold or silver status card.

I flew Vueling a couple of years ago. For a one hour flight it was bearable, but the outstanding memory is how cramped the seats were, and I spent the entire flight with my knees pressed against the seat in front. I am 5ft 11 so not particularly tall……

Several years ago, I failed to reach the renewal level to maintain my gold status with KLM two years running, but they renewed it anyway both years……….

Reading the BA inflight magazine on a flight 3 days ago, it said the boarding changes are to be implemented in December 2018. Don’t know if this is a misprint, but I saw no evidence on the new boarding procedures on my two flights over Christmas

I thought all the grapes in France had to be re-imported from the USA after the Great Wine Bight so that there is really no such thing as French wine ?

I went through an e-gate on arrival at Schiphol last week….

I flew from Schiphol on Wednesday afternoon. At around 3.30pm it took about 20 minutes to get through security. It could have been less had all security lanes been open, and it seemed as if everyone was being given the full body search.

There also seemed to be a shortage of buses for the UK flights from the D6 gate which meant most flights had short delays. My flight to Heathrow took off 45 minutes late after the taxi to the Polderbaan
