Firstly no I’ve never been crew or employed by an airline, however I do know a few crew at both VS and BA, and from also been a frequent flyer, as I’m sure other frequent flyers along the way pick up hints and tips from crew and so forth.
In regards I don’t find it hard at all to understand, we all have opinions and a right to voice it too.

To FDOS and seasoned traveller, many thanks for your comments, zero experience you say, I just fly almost every week to the states and throw in a few short hauls to VIE, but doubt I know too much of that’s the case, as long as I arrive safe and no problems that is what I’m happy about, running out of chix or beef or the sound of lockers been thrown into the roof is not my top priority or something I’m too bothered about, obviously for you it is.

Never mind babies, I’ve seen grown women and adults having actual meltdowns when there’s been no salmon starter left, lol, and damn right rude towards the crew, what on earth are they supposed to do, stop off and get some, it is a mode of public transport yes with nice seats, but end of day we are all up there together, not much can be done but grab yourself a pair of headsets and a g&t.

think I’ve heard it all now, slamming of an overhead locker, pls no wonder they huffed and never returned, those lockers are huge, even me at 5.7 if they are light there fine but with plenty of luggage in them there heavy buggers, a good bang is needed, I even help the crew, if that’s all you got to moan about, god help you……

Flew back from Tokyo hnd on Monday. I most certainly will not say BA is a 3rd class airline, I’m british and proud of our flag carrier, fantastic flight, crew were Brillant as my phone fell down between the seat and wall in first, managed to retrieve if for me, without moving the seat, nice service, I for one will remain flying with BA, hope they keep up the good work.

everyine knows that VS is more charter outside of its main hub LHR, aircraft have a complete different layout like those 747 at LGW, used for leisure routes, they are attracting a different type of people holiday makers, where as LHR makes the money, have a look online, more expensive to fly from LHR to Atlanta then man to Atlanta, why because different league of people which would be more business type, premium cabins which are more bigger makes the money out of London, hence why it’s only seasonal out of man, but well done for the north to have some new routes to its network, hopefully it does well.

I really have no desire to ever fly with Emirates ever again, everyone had told me how good they were suppose to be, well the flight attendants were very good and had to deal with a very argumentative customer whom was very rude for sitting in the wrong seat, but it’s just the fake gold the whole thing is just way too much, I got one didn’t like it, I know lots comment on here about BA, fair awnuf they might not have the best product but I do always feel I’ve been looked after on board, or on the ground when things have gone wrong.

Well done BA crew, you did a fantastic job, and to AnthonyDunn, I’m sure all BA crew are trained exactly the same regardless of where they are based I’m sure,

From what I believe the route will be operated by a mixture of 747/777
