In conversation with my wife over breakfast, we got talking about Paris CDG airport. She pointed out that CDG was her maiden name and she wondered which airport would be her married name CDM? According to this Wikipedia list, there is no airport with this 3-letter code.

There is no airport with my initials so I don’t exist so I decided to look at my family instead. It turns out that my brother is Shirihama, Japan, my father is Lamerd, Iran and my mother doesn’t exist. Neither does my father-in-law but my mother-in-law is Perugia, Italy.

So go on, tell us which airport(s) you and your family are!

I’m Richmond airport in the Australian Outback, which is quite ironic as I was brought up in the city of Richmond, which is home to a much larger airport -YVR
