Mrs LPPS has decided we need a few days in Malta and I’m not one to argue. I last went there 40 years ago with the parents aged twelve so I guess a few things will have changed.

The Phonecia looks like the place to stay or is there somewhere better that isn’t coming up on the searches? I think we prefer to be in Valletta rather than Sliema.

just returned – stayed at the Argento and Le Meridian in St Jullians – we preferred the Argento, got a deal through booking.com was less than half the price of Le M, rooms a bit small but very clean, quiet and extremely friendly staff + breakfast included!.

If you wish to be in Valletta, the Phoenicia is the one 🙂

    Enjoy.

Off the beaten track (but nowhere is much more than 15-20 mins, with a hire car), the Corinthia Palace in Attard is a lovely hotel

If I’m around when you come, I’ll be pleased to offer a quick tour of the island, if you’d like.
