I am wondering, why airline companies dont offer a “business package”, which would include a personal service (like F) on the ground. I believe, many business passengers would pay for such a service.
I think this is a very good point. Especially with BA and others using 3-class configurations now, it is the ground service which can make the difference – particularly fast track arrival and limo transport. So have Business and Business+ – same inflight service but with enhanced ground services.

…….and destroy the airlines first class business. To me it would seem to be a totally illogical business decision.

British Airways is partnering with a 3rp party service to provide, for a fee, what I believe you are suggesting.

    Airport Concierge

But First is disappearing/has disappeared from many routes – no doubt linked to the demise of the 747. The Accra route now only offers the 3 cabin 777.

Pre pandemic, didn’t Heathrow offer a meet and greet along the lines of the LH First class terminal offerings (FRA/MUN), for ca. £1,800 per person?

I would imagine post pandemic, any additional or new revenue airports can create through innovative service offerings will happen, including fast track ground services, perhaps including any new and fast covid testing, that needs to be done.

As with post 9/11, I think the emphasis/priority for passengers will be the protocols of getting as far as the aircraft seat, with the least amount of effort, rather then considering the benefits of F verses C…

What controls the airlines have over these services to offer the ground services (especially in F) or whether the airports will try to grab the revenue, time will tell.
