SteveJohnsonIn0zParticipantI’d LOVE to see the Concorde at Heathrow, it’d be a real drawcard!

VintageKrugParticipantIf you’re interested in Concorde, then maybe a trip to see the Russian imitator (which was bigger and faster, but deadly) at Sinsheim Museum, near Frankfurt, might be worthwhile:

The Tu144 was involved in the deaths of less than 20 people, the Concorde over 100.
Your assertion is untrue and reflects your lack of knowledge about aviation operations.

JohnHarperParticipantOh dear, Krug is bumping old threads again this morning in an attempt to bury bad news about BA again.

VintageKrugParticipantIt it impossible to believe that such post stalking, personalisation of posts and focussed attacks on everything I post does not come from one of those formerly posting on this forum.
If you’d like to drag the forum down further, then please continue your disgusting behaviour.

JohnHarperParticipantWell Krug, the first day I posted you accused me of being someone else so you hardly endeared yourself to me as a new poster. Over time I’ve realised, like others that you are a troll so please stop accusing others of holding you to account.
The only person who drags this forum down is you and your various handles.

ImissConcordeParticipantI think that I saw in a High Life recently that it’s going to be positioned near 27L/9R.

If you post incorrect assertions, I will correct them. Your behaviour is the problem here, posting your ill informed opinion as fact.
Your opinion is that the Tu144 was deadly is true to the extent that it claimed nearly 20 lives. However, this was eclipsed by the 109 lives claimed in the Concorde crash, which, it should be noted, occured in airline operation, whereas the Tu144 suffered two accidents in display/testing flights.
No amount of blustering will cover up your lack of knowledge of aviation operations.

VintageKrugParticipantJust continue your Digusting behaviour, you’ve been rumbled.

dutchyankeeParticipantActually VK, I think you will see you have been `rumbled` through the well written post by JohnHarper at 09:29 and by Guest_Poster at 9:34. You just hate it when anyone proves you wrong or corrects you, and yet you feel you should have free reign to correct everyone on this forum. Unfortunately the BT crew seem to allow your behaviour which is why I tend to post far less than before. You bring this forum down everytime you so much as log on!

VintageKrugParticipantI do not hate being corrected, I’m happy to have inaccuracies in posts discussed – I have not made any inaccurate statements above – Konkordski was “deadly” as I set out. There is nothing inaccurate in that assertion.
As usual, someone has mislead you suggesting I made an assertion that Konkordski was “deadlier” than Concorde. I never made any such assertion. I simply said it was “deadly” and never made a comparison to Concorde.
And yet, seeking any way to make a personal attack on me – and notably referencing both my handle and then making a personalised attack on me – the Usual Suspects (and it’s difficult to keep track of how many handles he has had) manufactures an assertion by me and then criticises it.
It’s feeble bahviour and it’s dragging the forum down – anyone with half an eye (“VintageKrug in horrific attack on sight-impaired children”) can see EXACTLY the same behaviours from Guest_Poster as others we know all too well.

VintageKrugParticipantBack on topic, I favour the roundabout outside T5, but I haven’t heard anything in support of this option, so it looks likely she’ll languish, rat infested, near the Engineering area for the foreseeable future:

Why don’t you do us a favour, take a break for a while and come back refreshed.
I suggest when you start wearing long trousers to school.

dutchyankeeParticipantI too believe and hope the BA Concorde is placed at T5, and cared for as she should be!

alexlondonParticipantThe TU-144 made less than 60 scheduled passenger flights. Against that background, 20 deaths is pretty high. Safety concerns meant it was almost immediately grounded. Concorde served for over 27 years.
