Was in HK a few years ago taking a taxi to the Conrad in Central. Taxi driver did not know Conrad, so I tried Marriott, which you pass about 200metres before. He didn’t know that either so I tried Shangri-La, which is 100metres past the Conrad. He didn’t know that either>

“OK, I’ll show you” said I. As we passed the Marriott I pointed it out, and he nodded wisely. Then past the Conrad to turn back and I pointed to the Shangri-La.

“Ah!” he exclaimed “Shan gorilla!”
