Warning….Avios disappearing from Exec Club accounts

    By chance I noticed this morning that 17,000 Avios had been debited from my BA account. I had no recall of any recent booking that would have caused this amount to disappear.
    I called the Gold card contact number and explained to a charming lady as to what had happened. She called me back an hour later and explained that her colleagues had seen these deductions from accounts, for no reason, over the past few days. My Avios were reinstated immediately with apologies.
    Might be worth checking your account.
