Virgin to join Sky Team on 2nd March – Air Miles/Points question

I’m VAA Flying Club Silver with lots of points and focus on them as my main earning scheme (with VAA directly, other earning partners or AMEX Rewards). I also have Silver with Star Alliance (with SQ) and basic level with One World.

I’m booked on LHR-HND with ANA on 4th March and entered my VAA Flying Club number to earn points on the ANA flight. Now, with VAA joining Sky Team on 2nd March and ANA being in Star Alliance, do I risk not earning Virgin Miles on the ANA flight after 2nd March?

If so, should I just replace my VAA Flying Club number and enter my (SQ) Star Alliance number instead.

    Any thoughts/recommendations welcome
