    LAX-MEL
Was delayed due to the “tug” breaking down, but this was the airport, not the plane.

The nice piece prior to even getting anywhere near the plane was the cabin manager introducing themselves in the lounge and explaining the details of the flight and answering any questions.

The boarding area in LAX for Virgin Australia is extremely congested as it is the Virgin America terminal. There was very little space. As boarding commenced, business and top tier FF’s were allowed first and it was amazing to see the rush get on board.

Pre-welcome drinks were offered and any assistance in understanding the seat and on board features was offered. PJ’s were handed out and it was great to get into them. Very nice material and comfortable. The express meal was great to have especially if you wanted to get to sleep. Each section in business class had specific crew who were attentive and make you feel welcome.

Sleep came easy after the bed was made up – you feel like you get tucked in with the generous blanket.

Breakfast was hearty and offered a good standard off food. There was plenty of time to freshen up on the plane and the number of toilets in business class made it easy to get into a room.

Business class was given the express pass for customs which makes life easy and clearing customs a breeze.

Looking forward to my next flight with Virgin.
