But as Delhi-based analyst @Vinamralongni notes the operation of code-share flights means that the operating carrier (in this case Virgin Atlantic) has a responsibility to the other carrier.
The flight in question was one operating between the UK and India.
Codeshares are a great way to make money but they come with additional compliances.
