VintageKrugParticipantAnyone who needs to transit through SFO San Francisco should consider checking out http://www.virginamerica.com a relatively new airline flying from SF to Las Vegas, LA, NYC and DC and soon San Diego and Seattle.
I would really like to see an in depth review of this carrier in BT magazine, as they have some excellent innovations, and the First Class looks pretty interesting.
Certainly one to watch as they take on the sluggish domestic legacy carriers.

VintageKrugParticipantIs there a plan for BT to review Virgin America anytime soon?

MarcusUKParticipantThe same of VAustralia, though they connect Australia to LAX, JNB, as well as Fiji & Thailand. They fly 4 x brand new 777-300ER’s, with additional aircraft coming in the next months.
They have a Business class equal to others First, PE, as well as economy,
Seems they have plans to connect to the UK end of this year, though these are being discussed with the entire staff teams, as one option. The various Virgin Airlines have plans to entirely merge, end of this year, as one large Global Airline.
Perhaps a review of both, & the new options created for Long haul travellers from BT. VAustralia, is certainly connecting continents to Australia where there are few or no options, certainly relevant to BT readers.21 Jul 2010

BusinessTravellerKeymasterJust a quick note to say that after years of requests by several posters, Business Traveller has finally taken a flight with Virgin America between Los Angeles and Seattle, and will be posting a Tried and Tested review in due course.
Regarding Virgin Australia, we have recently posted two reviews of the airline’s short-haul product, including one of the carrier’s new Boeing Sky interior onboard a B737-800.
