The nonstop from LAS/HNL is excellent and HAL’s meals are the best amongst the carriers.
Absolutely agree with Gold 2K
Our flights were LA to Kona – Big Island with AA ‘First Class’ (BA codeshare) and it was pretty bad both ways, ancient aircraft so no leg room, hardly a footrest and single screen entertainment. Miserable crew and miserable food (pizza at midnight anyone?) The longest night flight ever avoid like the plague, I repeat -avoid!!
I agree with United out of SFO. I’d check Flyertalk for specific opinions. Hawaiian Air has a fairly dismal reputation for screwing thins up, I’ve not flown them but we’ve had several posts on my travel advocacy forum. Regardless, it’s pretty difficult to not enjoy the flight … everybody’s happy!
