US Covid test and flight cancellation

    Due to fly LHR/BOS Friday and have the covid test booked for today as required. There’s a big old snow storm coming into New England so a possibility of flight cancellations. Just curious if anyone knows, if I get pushed back from a Friday pm departure to Saturday morning, will I need to retest or will the VeriFLY Covid pass for the Friday flight still be accepted? Assuming I would have to re-test as it will be longer than 24 hour. Anyone have any experience?
