I expect many of you will have seen the confirmation earlier today that Qantas has made a major order for short-haul aircraft with Airbus.
If Qantas does proceed with its plans for more ULH (ultra long-haul) flights it’s understood it favours the A350 over the B787.
This evening comes news that Air France / KLM have also chosen Airbus over Boeing. It’s a mammoth order comprising 100 firm orders plus 60 options.
Today, #AirFranceKLM's Board of Directors made the decision to move forward on the Group’s goal to improve its economic and environmental performance with:
1⃣▶️A firm order for 100 @Airbus #A320neo family for @KLM, @Transavia & @TransaviaFR.
