RoadKingParticipantDouble bad for me 🙁
I fly via LHR, but it is not the starting point.
I am going to LAX, not SFO. Obviously, I could have chosen SFO an a connection, but …
Besides, when I fly discounted business, I suppose it does not apply then.
Anyways, thanks for the update!

VintageKrugParticipantThat’s a shame RoadKing.
If it’s not a rude question, could I ask how much you paid for your exEUR Club World flight?

RoadKingParticipantNot at all rude.
For the return ticket to LAX via LHR (J class to LHR and I class between LHR and LAX) I paid £2043.
I was considering breaking up the tickets and add a flight from SFO to LAX so I would have my intercontinental starting from LHR and thus qualify for the triple offer, but when I checked online, BA was asking £6372 for just the LHR – SFO leg.
Obviously, that was out of question. Quite frankly, I am stunned by the difference. If I were living on the islands I would definitely consider a one way ticket out of England to start the trip elsewhere and save £4300…
This of course provided you do not check any luggage.
