We are travelling Club Europe from Istanbul to LHR in July and will only have hand baggage. Do British Airways have a gate check of electronic devices (laptops and tablets)? Turkish Airlines have implemented the service since the electronics ban was introduced for flights from Istanbul and I was wondering whether BA have provided a similar service? If not, what advice/support is there for customers travelling with hand baggage and banned electronic devices?

BA do not at Istanbul. I lost a bolt charger because of it. The lady beside me lost a phone. I asked could it be posted and they looked at me in disbelief. Really I don’t think there is anyway around it but check a bag. Or fly Turkish Airlines. Wide body. Flatish beds. Free wifi. vs. Club Europe cattle class seat.
