I travel regularly in both directions between Paris and Cologne. The Thalys services provide the most comfortable journey, even though there have been increasing delays and the last services are a bit too early!

I have been told that in Autumn 2019, the Paris-Cologne service will no longer be direct but run instead via Frankfurt. The booking window is not yet open that far ahead so I cannot see any information about this.

There is nothing I can find on the Thalys site about it.

Has anyone else heard about these changes and could fill in some detail?

I REALLY don’t want to have to switch from the 06:13 Thalys to a 7:00 flight into Dusseldorf!
