I did read that TG have on order some new 777’s and there were plans to look at providing F on those (if they ever appear) and I suspect Thai would follow everyone else and reduce the number of seats to 8.

    I have some good news.

I hear from a credible source that TG will be taking delivery of three new B777-300ERs during February.

These three aircraft are being leased from BOC Aviation.

Their names will be Alongkorn, Theparat and Simongkhon.

Not yet confirmed but the configuration is expected to be 8 first, 40 business and 255 economy.

Further to my above post I saw this on Twitter yesterday.

It’s from a US-based AvGeek. It shows the first of these three B777-300ERs undergoing tests in Seattle.

HS-TTA is the aircraft to be named “Alongkorn”

That is verry nice BUT when will they refund the money for flights canceled over 2 years ago?

Hi Jacob not sure where in the world you are but I found the LA office in USA so helpful and I talked to a real person who sorted so much out for me. Good luck.
