    Swiss LX1272 ZRH CPH 1h30m

Was assigned 3D (in a row with the middle seat rendered non pax carrying, by removing the cushion and adding a table) presumably because of *G status.

The gate staff operated priority boarding immaculately and I was in the first 10 onboard, good to see all the priority pax ensuring that a family with young kids got on first, rather than pushing past, which can be the case sometimes.

Seat was the Recaro space saver, which is slightly hard, but much better than the NEK (which should be banned as an instrument of torture) and there was about 34″ of legroom in what is effectively a business class configuration.

Service was Swiss, efficient, pleasant and the small bread roll was tasty, as was the 18ml bottle of red wine.

Apart from the slight edge in service and the better seat config, economy flying is becoming homogenous and for shorter flights, it is a perfectly acceptable level of service.

My baggage took nearly 50 minutes to come out at CPH, and there were still some people waiting – totally unacceptable.
