I returned from MUC on Tuesday night into Stansted.

Had to wait 30 mins for the shuttle train to get from the satellite gates to the terminal. (It got very close to a dangerous crush; I was seconds away from using the emergency phone.)

I then waited 45 minutes to get through UK immigration, which was in utter chaos. People were in tears. Queuing at midnight is such fun.

I then got out to the short term car park to find my car badly scratched.

Is Stansted normally like this? My view is that it is dangerous, inhuman, foul and to be avoided.

(MUC airport was wonderful – BAA, go learn. Definitely Germany 4 England Nil.)
