Something odd about the BA/Airlink partnership?

The new operating partnership seems to be up and running in South Africa. All Airlink flights into CPT now have BA flight numbers….except any flights from Joburg to CPT. Something doesn’t add up, as that is the trunk route that is the most important. Any ideas in Business Traveller land?!

Yes thanks saw all the minor routes, but CPt-JNB and CPT-DUR are missing.

JNB-Cpt is there and one would assume that it is V V.
Perhaps little traffic Cpt -Dur ?

Airlink are copying Comair with three flights a day between CPT and DUR. Maybe they’ve just forgotten it!

CPT to DUR is never direct. Usually have to change at JNB which adds a lot of extra time.

All Airlink aircraft I’ve seen are still all in Airlink colours. I wonder if we’ll see any British Airways flag / logo eventually appearing??

I’m liking Airlink more and more. Great and very helpful call centre, and I could move a flight with no hassle and an eventual very small change fee.

LP that is encouraging to hear – perhaps Airlink livery on BA aircraft would boost BA’s declining profile.
